ENGINES FOR SALE

All engines are sold “as is” but with the guarantee we’ll tell you all we know about them and if a major problem is found after you buy the engine, such as a cracked flywheel or a cylinder with excessive wear or wrist pin damage (serious enough to prevent any compression), we’ll replace the part if we have one, or give a partial refund, or you may bring the engine back for a full refund. Normal wear, casting repairs (other than flywheels), non-working mags, etc. are not included. We do not sell engines as running or non-running as this is misleading. An engine can be running but in poor condition while a non-runner can be in much better condition, just needing some servicing or minor mechanical work to run.. All should be restorable. We don’t list any part’s or junk engines. In some cases we will get an engine running for an extra charge (depends on how busy our shop is). A small down payment will hold an engine for two weeks and this down payment can be applied toward another engine or refunded if you don’t want the engine you came to see. Engines paid for in full can be stored for up to 3 months at no charge. There is no way we can tell you everything about an engine or how much it will take to get it going, but we can tell you quite a bit about the condition and what we feel it will take to restore to good mechanical condition. In case of disagreements on what we should do if there is a problem with an engine, we reserve the right to buy the engine back at the selling price, and only if the engine is brought back to us. We are not responsible for any shipping.

NEW SHIPPING POLICY
TO make it more convenient for our customers, we have recently changed our shipping policy and will now help ship engines. However, the following conditions apply:

1)You must arrange all shipping with a carrier (or friend, etc.) . We will NOT contract for any shipping. You must contact a shipper that will pick up at our shop and make all financial arrangements, paperwork, etc. and coordinate the pickup time with us to insure that we are available when the truck arrives.

2)We will crate an engine for a fee (most commercial freight companies require crating). The minimum is $75 and will go up depending on the engine and complexity of crating a particular engine. Ed will tell you what the fee for a particular engine will be when you discuss price, etc.

3)Crated or uncrated engines will be loaded on any truck or trailer for no charge.

We hope that this new policy will help you folks in deciding to purchase one of our engines. We will work with you through the process to make it as easy as possible.

NOTICE: We have checked out, make some repairs, & got running some of these engines and working on others. Additional pictures available by email only. For more info call and ask for Ed.
