One note about our steam items. Due to liability, all used steam items will be sold with a disclaimer stating that the item is sold as is, may be unsafe, and is not recommend for use. What the buyer does with it is entirely their responsibility. Of course steam items have historical and collectable value regardless of how we sell them, and it’s up to the buyer to determine their condition and true value. We will supply pictures if desired and describe condition as much as possible. Your cooperation and understanding will be appreciated.

A Steam Powered Car - Item #S01

Car of Tomorrow? NASCAR eat your heart out. This steam car is now at the boiler shop and has been hydrostated, fired and run around the yard. Currently waiting for the Ohio State inspector to tag the boiler. Previous to us acquiring it, it last ran in a parade 10 years ago in Cleveland, OH. Code Boiler dated 1939, 100PSI, real nice bottle shaped engine in good condition, 3 injectors, feed pump on engine too, pre-heater, boiler. Running gear seems OK except brakes need fluid or fixing. Pictures are just as we found it except for some replacement rubber. Previous owner unknown, sold to us by owners of 150 year old warehouse as unclaimed storage.
Price reduced, asking $4500, will take gas engines on trade as well. Click on each picture for a larger version. Be sure to have your pop-up stopper turned off.

 
Boiler

#S03 Small steam boiler (what often is referred to as a laundry boiler). Heavy rivited boiler, looks ok, other than that we know nothing about it. $150.00
 
Steam Pumps

I would guess these pumps are from Great Lakes Freighters as these were in the warehouse with the steam car, only on the second floor. Will sell the whole lot at a reasonable price or do some trading if any interest.

#S09 Worthington, 6-1/4 X 3-1/2 X 5, gosh what a beast, and very old. If we don’t sell it will be a landscaping ornament here on our grounds. Unusual pump from what I’m familiar with. Heavy-close to 1500 lbs. $450.00
